Indian Oil launches check and fill campaign for customers

Bhopal: Indian Oil has launched a 15-day check-and-fill campaign at its 50 automated retail outlets in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. The company has started this “Test Karo Reward Pao” campaign to reassure customers about the quality and quantity of petrol and diesel being sold at Ros.

The campaign will be continued initially up to September 26, and will further be extended based on the customer response.

According to V Satish Kumar, Executive Director & State Head of the company, “the campaign will make our customers aware of their rights to check Q&Q.  It also will reassure them about Indian Oil’s commitment to always be a trustworthy fuel provider of nation.”

During the campaign customers can check the Q&Q with the assistance of designated quality assurance attendants. They will be asked to check the quality of petrol through filter paper test. The attendants will inform them about the density checks of petrol and diesel.

The customers will be invited to check the quantity dispensed through the dispensing unit. It will be checked with a calibrated 5 litre measure stamped by Weights and Measures department.

Keeping in view of the current Covid-19 situation, customers will have the option to get the checks demonstrated by a designated quality assurance attendant or do it themselves. In case customer volunteers to do it themselves, a protective kit will be provided.

Customers carrying out the checks at the ROs will be offered Q&Q bonus points.

After carrying out the checks at RO customers are required to send a SMS to mobile number 9594925848.
