Two bears spotted in Thuakheda village
BHOPAL: Two bears sighted in Thuakheda village,
13-km from Kolar area in the state capital, created panic among the villagers
on Thursday. However, the bears did not attack any villager and fled towards
Samardha Range officer Sudhir Singh said some
villagers of Thuakheda informed the forest officials that two bears were seen
in the village.
The villagers further said when the animals saw
the villagers, they fled to the forest.
On getting the information, a search team
rushed to the spot and began to locate the animals.
The officials issued instructions to the
villagers to burn fire outside their houses to keep the animals at bay.
