Burhanpur will be developed as world heritage: Puar
BHOPAL: In view
of its immense tourism potential the Burhanpur district would be developed as world
heritage, said tourism minister Tukojirao Puar.

Friday, Puar said a special destination package would be prepared in this
regard and sent to the Union government.
Development Corporation chairman Mohan Yadav said tourism facilities would be
expanded in Burhanpur district with the construction of Asirgarh tourist road.
The tourists would also be able to visit famous Asirgarh fort. Yadav announced
to name this road after Shrimant Krishnarao Puar.
Puar said the state
government would soon initiate steps towards development of tourist places in
Burhanpur establishing coordination with the Union government. He asked the
collector to chalk out a plan for all-round development of tourist places in
Dadu and former MP Nandkumar Singh Chauhan also spoke on the occasion.
Zila Panchayat chairperson
Gaurabai Darbar, Nepanagar Municipality chairman Madhu Singh Chauhan, a number
of people’s representatives and officers were present on the occasion.
