Madhya Pradesh CM Chouhan 4th Indian to receive Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship

Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be the fourth Indian to receive the Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship, in Singapore on January 13, for his contribution to development and international harmony.

Chief Minister Chouhan will lead a high-level delegation including, state commerce and industries minister Yashodhara Raje Scindia and eminent industrialists, to Singapore for a four-day visit commencing from January 12. The delegation will invite major Singaporean companies, industrial houses and trade organizations to the Global Investors Summit to be conducted in the state later this year.

Chouhan is also scheduled to meet Lee Kuan Yew Exchange Fellowship Chairman Eddie Teo and Singapore's second minister for trade and industry, S Iswaran on January 13, as per official communique.

Earlier, former vice-chairman of Planning Commission Montek Singh Ahluwalia, former union minister for investments Arun Shourie and chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh Chandra Babu Naidu had received this fellowship.
