Shatrughan Sinha dares BJP to take action against him
New Delhi: Virtually
challenging his party, the BJP, to take action against him,
actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha took it to Twitter and quoted Newton’s
Third Law of Motion to warn the ruling party.
“People are seeking my
reactions on unconfirmed and unofficial report that BJP will take action after
the Bihar elections. I will not comment on unofficial report spread by vested
interests,” the MP said.
“However one shouldn't
forget Newton’s third law “Every action has an equal and opposite reaction”, he
said in another tweet.
A senior party leader
had said on Monday that the BJP would not take any action against its defiant
Lok Sabha member Shatrughan Sinha till after the Bihar election, a senior party
leader said on Monday.
Asked whether the BJP
would take action against Sinha, the leader had said on condition of anonymity:
“Will talk after counting in Bihar election.”
On Sinha’s continuous
remarks supporting Janata Dal-United leader and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish
Kumar, he had said: “What can I say about what is not in my hand."
as 'Shotgun'—had recently called Nitish Kumar the country's best chief minister
and has been continuously embarrassing the BJP through his statements.
Sinha had recently
expressed unhappiness over the suspension of 25 Congress members by Lok Sabha
Speaker Sumitra Mahajan.
He was also among the
