Biometric system to be installed in Medical College Hospital
Rajnandgaon: To create
the tendency of punctuality among employees, biometric system of attendance
will be installed in Medical College Hospital wards. The project will be
launched in some wards on trail basis and later it will be executed in other

during a surprise inspection of the Medical College Hospital took stock of the
situation. He directed the Civil Surgeon, Dr CS Mahobe, to ensure getting the
bio-metric system installed in various wards so as to ensure timely attendance
of staff at the duty place. The collector directed the authorities concerned
regarding installation of closed circuit TV camera at the place of attendance.
Collector Bansal said
that computer systems should be installed at the store room for maintenance of
stock of medicine, injection etc, so that expiry date of medicines could be
known on time.
He said that counter should be opened for the
distribution of pathological reports in central laboratory of the hospital,
adding that doctors should compulsorily present at OPD and during emergency and
ensure their timely presence in the hospital.
He also directed the
doctors to ensure that cleanliness is maintained all over the hospital premises
and proper drainage system should be adopted. He said that the number of
security guards should be increased in the hospital. At present only 9 guards
are doing night duty.
The collector inspected
Aayush department, child ward, surgery ward, care and rehabilitation ward, male
surgery ward, registration ward, police help centre, central laboratory and
generic medicine shop.
He said that the state
government has sanctioned Rs 25 lakh for the OPD building construction and soon
the work would begin. He demanded improvement in vehicle parking system. He
asked Dr Aarti Marjway to make improvement in Ayurvedic treatment by technician
Kushal Kumar and to propagate acupressure treatment.
