Narendra Modi holds video conference with Madhya Pradesh chief secretary
BHOPAL: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday held discussions with Madhya Pradesh chief secretary Antony de Sa through video-conferencing. Modi particularly discussed early sanction of rail projects and speedy completion of pending works.
According to sources, the Prime Minister holds discussions with chief secretaries of states and concerning Union secretary on fourth Wednesday of each month.
During the video-conferencing, Anthony de Sa was present at NIC room at state secretariat Vallabh Bhavan. Antony de Sa informed the Prime Minister all details of necessary sanctions and ongoing process for various sections of Lalitpur-Khajuraho-Satna-Rewa-Singrauli rail line. Work is being accelerated following diversion of route due to restrictive area under Panna Tiger Reserve and alternative land has been handed over to railways.
Antony de Sa informed the Prime Minister about infrastructure arrangements for handloom cluster at Chanderi. This building is being constructed at Chanderi by Union PWD. The Prime Minister desired to accelerate pace of work, a state release said.
