60-year-old man found murdered at farm in Bhopal
BHOPAL: A 60-year-old man was found
murdered at his agriculture farm on Wednesday morning. The motive of the murder
is a mystery for the police force. According to police, on Monday, a man was
found murdered in Char Imli and a man was shot dead in Hanumanganj area. A case
was registered at Nazeerabad police station of the city.
The elderly man, Mangilal Gurjar, was
a resident of village Bhamora and the body was found lying in pool of blood at
11am. There were injuries on forehead and leg. Police said the family returned
home after work from fields and Mangilal slept there to keep watch on harvested
crop on farm.
The police suspect involvement of a
villager in the brutal killing. Though officials said nothing concrete could be
said, sources said the incident could be an outcome of post-poll violence.
The elderly man and his sons
allegedly had a dispute two days ago with a villager over panchayat elections.
On March 15, two persons were murdered and 15 sustained injuries in post-poll violence
at village Baandikhedi in Nazeerabad area.
