Madhya Pradesh government introduces online life certificate scheme for pensioners
BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh government has decided to introduce
online life certificates based on Aadhar-based bio-metric authentication, by
implementing amendments made by Central government in pension payment scheme in
Directives in this regard have been issued to all
heads of departments, divisional commissioners and district collectors. Now the
pensioners need not to appear in person to give proof of being alive.
For bio-metric identification and digital life
certificate, pensioners and family pensioners may download application linked
to website www.jeevanpramaan.gov.in on android, tab, smart phone or windows
computer. By acquiring fingerprint scanner/IRIS scanner and attaching the same
with android, tab, smart phone or windows computer, they may upload bio-metric
authentication after registering their Aadhar Number/bank account number and
mobile phone number.
Through “locate centre” on the website, pensioners may
get their bio-metric authentication through nearest common service centre or
banks with scanners. After successful completion of release of digital life
certificate, pensioners will receive transaction ID on their mobile phones
If a pensioner is already registered then their record
in concerning bank will be automatically updated from November next year after
digital life certificate bio-metric authentication.
The new arrangement will be in addition to the
existing arrangements. Information about new arrangements may be obtained from
www.jeevanpramaan.gov.in. Besides, assistant programmer, pension, provident

The pensioners, who
have not produced life certificates till date (November 2014) may get benefit
of the new arrangement.
