Madhya Pradesh first state to help youths set up industries: Chouhan
BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said
that Madhya Pradesh is the first state to provide up to Rs 1-crore loan to help
youths establish their own industries. A Capital Venture Fund of Rs 100-crore
has been instituted to promote innovations in entrepreneurship.
Chouhan urged entrepreneurs, representatives and
talents of industry sector to partner in efforts to develop and re-build Madhya
Pradesh. He was addressing a function where talented entrepreneurs and
prominent industrialists were felicitated here on Wednesday. The function was
organised by Nav Dunia, Nai Dunia and Dainik Jagran groups of newspapers.
Chouhan said that government and industries need each
other’s cooperation for people’s prosperity and state’s development. He said
that the government is always ready to change its policies and make them
conducive for investment and development. He said that Madhya Pradesh would scale
dizzy heights with the cooperation of entrepreneurs.
Investors will face no difficulty. He urged youths to
come forward and establish their industries. The days are a thing of past when
investors used to remain away from Madhya Pradesh. Now, Madhya Pradesh has
become a choice for investors.
Chouhan said that he himself would visit industrial
areas and ensure that strong infrastructures are developed and facilities
provided to investors. Describing investors as members of team for development
of Madhya Pradesh, the Chief Minister said the state would move forward with
cooperation of all. He said that “Make in Madhya Pradesh” Mission has been
launched to ensure success of Prime Minister’s “Make in India” campaign.
Chouhan said that state’s growth and agriculture
growth rates have increased unprecedently. Industry and agriculture will both
be developed. Per capita income has increased 4-fold.
