Make ‘Digital Madhya Pradesh’ for ‘Digital India’: Chouhan

BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has urged for making “Digital Madhya Pradesh” for “Digital India”. He exhorted youths to dream big and cooperate in making India prosperous.

Addressing the inaugural function of Technosearch-2014 of Maulana Azad National Institute of Technology here on Friday, Chouhan said that the state would be developed as manufacturing hub. Madhya Pradesh will become driving force of country’s economy. Youths should come forward and partner in building a new Madhya Pradesh. They should become entrepreneurs and employers instead of job-seekers, he added.

The chief minister said that every dream could be fulfilled through persistence, passion and perseverance. Venture Capital Fund has been established in Madhya Pradesh to promote innovations of entrepreneurs. Schemes like Mukhyamantri Yuva Udyami Yojana and Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojana have been implemented. Ideas or suggestions for Madhya Pradesh’s progress can be posted on “Ideas for CM” website, he added.

He said that Madhya Pradesh’s growth and agriculture growth rates are the highest in the country now. Attention is being given to “Digital Madhya Pradesh” for realising Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream of “Digital India”. Madhya Pradesh will be developed as most developed state of the country and world. Stress is being laid on investment to transform the state. Youths should cooperate in laying a network of small and cottage industries.

The chief minister inspected Rolta incubation centre and inaugurated a shopping complex on the institute’s premises.

Vishnu Dutt Sharma said that youths’ role is vital in country’s development. Institution’s Director KK Appukuttan said that academics, industries and government should work in tandem for country’s integrated development. Students Union’s President Harshit Shrivastava threw light on Technosearh-2014. During the 3-day event, 60 competitions will be held.
