Youth murders man for illicit relations with mother
BHOPAL: A 22-year-old murdered a youth three years
elder to him for allegedly having illicit relations with his mother.
The accused, Anees Khan, 22, harboured enmity against
murdered youth Rajesh Vishwakarma, 25, who had developed illicit relations with
Khan’s mother and had started living with her along with three children,
including the accused, eldest of the three siblings.
Khan was against her mother’s relationship with Rajesh
and would often have heated arguments with his mother and Rajesh over the
issue. He was forcing her mother to live separately, if she wanted to live with
On Saturday night, Khan, who worked with a transport
company had a row with Rajesh over the same issue following which he attacked
Rajesh with a sharp-edged weapon. Rajesh sustained grievous injuries and died
on way to hospital. The accused, Khan, had fled after committing crime, but was
later arrested, police added.
The case was later registered at Aishbagh police
n�ln�� �GB'>Ashwin came out of the room and tried to confront the
accused, but was attacked by a rod leading to injuries on his hand by the
accused who tried to flee. When Ashwin tried to chase them, they threatened him
on which he called for help from neighbours. As soon as neighbours woke up and
rushed out the two accused, who were on guard outside alerted their accomplices
Police was later informed and senior officials and
team of FSL and dog squad visited the spot.
Ashwin Raut said accused picked cash from his
daughter's piggybank and wife's purse besides taking away a mobile phone and
few pounds (foreign currency). Couple told they feared for safety of their kids
when accused were around.
Neighbours and security guard of duty saw five accused
fleeing the house. They had covered themselves with blankets, they said. One
person was later caught on suspicion from the campus, but it was not
ascertained whether he was among the accused or not.
The police have registered a case under section 458 of
IPC (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night after preparation for
hurt, assault, or wrongful restraint).
