Madhya Pradesh’s e-Ladli scheme gets Platinum Award

Tomar conferred Platinum Award to e-Ladli project of Madhya Pradesh at New
Delhi on Saturday. The award was received by Women and Child Development
Minister Maya Singh. e-Ladli Laxmi website is the first in the country in states’
ranking followed by Gujarat and Maharashtra .
After getting nationwide fame, the Ladli Laxmi
Yojana’s technology for implementation has also drawn national encomiums. For
effective implementation of Ladli Laxmi Yojana, e-Ladli Laxmi website has been developed
by Madhya Pradesh government. Apart from better documentation of scheme’s
beneficiaries through it, it has also become easier for people to get scheme’s
benefit. At present, 18 lakh girls have benefit from the scheme.
Skoch Foundation selected 300 projects for
e-implementation of public welfare schemes through a nationwide study and
survey, among them150 were conferred Skoch Order of Merit Award. These include
Anmol and e-Ladli of Madhya Pradesh Women & Child Development Department.
The award was conferred on September 19. Of the 150 projects, e-Ladli website
was adjudged best for Platinum Award.
The award was conferred by Narendra Singh Tomar to
Women and Child Development Minister Maya Singh at India Habitat Centre in New
Delhi. Skoch Foundation’s Chairman Sameer Kochar was also present on the

other Madhya Pradesh departments have also been conferred Skoch Order of Merit
Award including Rural Development, Education and Urban Administration and
Development departments for decentralised schemes up to rural areas of state.
