Twenty countries to participate in Global Investors Summit at Indore
BHOPAL: Chief Secretary Anthony de Sa on Friday reviewed
preparations for Global Investors Summit scheduled at Indore from October 8 to
10 this year. He said that all preparations for the summit should be completed
by September 25.
About 20 countries will partner in the summit. As many
as 3,000 delegates likely to attend it. For coverage of the summit, a media
centre and press briefing room should be set up at the venue.
Anthony de Sa said that all information about the
summit should be prepared simultaneously in Hindi and English. He informed that
about 15 sessions will be held during the 3-day summit.
Commissioner Indore Division Sanjay Dube informed that
every department has appointed a nodal officer for coordination and
arrangements for the summit. Executive Director of Madhya Pradesh Madhyam
Suresh Tiwari informed that a well-equipped media centre will be set up.
The meeting was informed that guests coming to the
summit will be taken on sightseeing tours of Mandu, Omkareshwar, Regional Park,
Indore city’s Lal Bagh, Rajbada, Krishna Chhatri and nearby districts.
City’s crossings and
public places will be specially decorated during the summit. Principal
Secretary Urban Administration SN Mishra, Managing Director of TRIFAC DP Ahuja
and other officers were present on the occasion.
