Madhya Pradesh to contribute its best to build glorious and strong India

BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh will contribute its best to build a glorious and strong India. With this in view all citizens of the state should take pledge to discharge their duties with total earnest and re-dedicate themselves to achieve the goal of making Madhya Pradesh a fully developed and prosperous state.

Good governance is the motto of the state government. Manthan will be held in September to ensure public facilities to common people in proper way and their problems are redressed. A campaign for tourism development will be launched in the state.

After launch of Narmada-Kshipra Link Project, Betwa and Ken rivers will also be linked under river-linking project. Road map of every village will be chalked out in consultation with villagers. Chouhan was addressing the state level Independence Day function after taking salute at Lal Parade Ground here on Friday.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has shed the stigma of a Bimaru state now. The state has achieved double digit growth during last 7 years. This is a turn and not destination. He urged to save every drop of water. Madhya Pradesh has emerged as the ideal state for investment, where small and cottage industries are being promoted along with major industries.

State government is committed to ensuring that benefits of development reach the common people. Good teachings of all religions will be included in educational syllabi. Higher Education Loan Fund has been instituted so that youths do not face any hurdle in pursuing higher education.

Madhya Pradesh is on decisive turn of development. He urged people to engage in works for state’s development with renewed vigour and commitment. Describing the last decade as glorious for state’s economic growth, the Chief Minister said that Madhya Pradesh has become the fastest-growing state in the country now.
