Plot purchasers in Naya Raipur will get free freehold facility
RAIPUR: Free of cost freehold facility will be given
to those purchase plot in Naya Raipur. Paying attention on their demands,
incremental housing facility will be made available to government employees in
Naya Raipur. This facility will be given to employees on concessional rate.
These decisions were taken at the 29th
meeting of Board of Directors of Naya Raipur Development Authority held here on
Tuesday. In the meeting chaired by NRDA chairman N Bijendra Kumar, several
important decisions, including that of not to increase reserved premium this
year and land allotment to different departments and institutions have been
The chairman said that the Board has taken these
decisions, including making freehold free of cost, in view of people’s demands.
The methods of implementation of these decisions would be given final touch
after holding discussions, he added.
He said that as a first step, the decision would be
implemented on 240 plots and further plan would be prepared later. He said the
Board, to promote important educational institutions, medical institutions and
housing activities in Naya Raipur, has taken decision not to increase reserved
premium. Last year’s rate will be continued this year. Due to non-payment of
premium amount, the Board has cancelled the land allotment to four departments
and institutions, whereas, plots have been allotted to 11 new departments and
In the meeting, approval with some suggestions have
been accorded for appointment of technical advisor for Railway Station complex
in Naya Raipur area and construction of business, retail and residential
complex in central business district.
For transit oriented development, decision has been
taken in the meeting to send proposal to the government for making necessary
amendment in the Naya Raipur Development Project 203.
Besides, approval has been given for establishment of
all facility Livelihood College in Naya Raipur, proposal of Indian Institute of
Science, Bangalore for preparation of Haritima Samvardhan Yojana in Naya Raipur
and several other proposals.
