Cabinet authorises administrative departments to permit prosecution of staff
BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh cabinet chaired by Chief
Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan here on Tuesday authorised administrative
departments to give permission for prosecution of officers-employees.
It was also decided to do away with compulsion of
obtaining approval of cabinet committee in the cases where defaulter
officer-employee is found guilty in departmental enquiry instituted on
recommendation of Lokayukta/Economic Offences Wing.
The cabinet sanctioned creation of 200 posts of class
II, III and IV employees in establishment of High Court including 10 posts each
of personal secretary, section officer, personal assistant, stenographer,
assistant grade-1 & II, record supplier, driver and jamadar, 50 posts of
assistant grade-3 and 20 posts of contingency workers.
Besides, 7 posts have been sanctioned for Residential
Commissioner Office, Madhya Pradesh Bhavan, New Delhi, 2 posts of Assistant
Protocol Officer in Vidhan Sabha Secretariat, 26 in Government Dental College,
Indore, 8 in Academy of Administration and 15 posts in pre-matric girls hostels
of Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department.
The cabinet gave administrative sanction to 9 group
drinking water schemes to be implemented by Madhya Pradesh Water Corporation
Limited. The projects will benefit 5 lakh population of 383 villages. From
these schemes, every rural household will be supplied drinking water at the
rate of 70 litre per head per day through domestic tap connections.
