Maoist deputy commander, three other hard-core naxals surrenders
RAIPUR: A self-styled deputy commander of outlawed
Communist Party of India (Maoist) and three other hard-core Maoists on Saturday
surrendered before Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Kondagaon district in
tribal Bastar region of Chhattisgarh.
The rebels, one of them carrying a reward, surrendered
before CRPF’s 188 battalion commandant Helal Firoz. CRPF officials identified
the surrendered Maoists as deputy commander Barda Dalam, Sop Singh (26), Shiv
Prasad Korram (25), Ramlal Sori (30) and Phool Singh.
With the surrender of Badra Dalam’s deputy commander,
Maoists have suffered a major blow as he was active in Kondagaon, Kanker and

Pradesh and it’s after long time a Naxalite at the level of deputy commander
