BHOPAL: Police should
maintain constant dialogue with people, said Home & Jail Minister Babulal
Gaur while chairing Ujjain division police officers’ review meeting at Dewas on
The minister said that
effective action should be taken on affected persons’ complaints in police
stations. Police stations should be developed as ideal police stations and
premises should be kept clean. All police officers should work with enthusiasm.
They should have thorough knowledge of law.
The Home Minister
directed that only women officers and employees should be deployed at women’s
desks set up in police stations of urban areas. Common people should be made
aware of traffic rules. Police should work hard to prevent crimes.
IG Madhu Kumar informed
about crimes and incidents taking place in Ujjain division during last 6 months
through a power point presentation. He informed that measures like helpline,
Shantidoot, senior citizens security cell etc. have been adopted for prevention
of crimes. Police reaches spot soon after getting information. He said that
preparations have been complete to deal with floods. Preparations for Simhastha
2016 have also been made.
