Keralite nurses stranded in Iraq would be brought back: Oommen Chandy
Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy has said that the stranded Keralite nurses
in Iraq would be brought back home. At present the situation is such that the
nurse cannot be brought to the airports in Iraq.
There is no need
for concern and the Iraqi authorities are providing food and water. Indian
envoys in gulf countries are meeting in New Delhi to discuss the arrangements
to be made to bring back stranded nurses.
The envoys in
Saudi, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, Oman and Bahrain are taking part in the meet. The
External Affairs minister would also hold discussions with envoys of Gulf
nations in India.
