Chhattisgarh government aims at giving best health facilities to people: Raman Singh
government aims at giving people easy access to health services. It is
committed to provide best health facilities to each needy family, said chief
minister Dr Raman Singh.
Ramkrishna Care Hospital (KIMS), a private medical institution, at divisional
headquarters Bilaspur on Wednesday, the chief minister said that besides
expansion of government medical services, the government has been encouraging
private sector also for establishment of hospitals with all modern resources in
the state. He said that the doctors of government and private sector should
cooperate the government in this service of humanity.
Dr Singh, who was
chief guest of the function, said that after formation of Chhattisgarh, modern
medical services have been expanded in the state. Hospitals of eminent
institutions of the state are functioning in the main cities like Raipur and
Bilaspur. The state government has furnished the government hospitals in
districts with modern equipments, he added.
He said that
Chhattisgarh was the first state that launched the Chief Minister Health
Insurance Scheme to provide free health service at recognised and registered
hospitals to each family, without any discrimination of rich and poor. The
chief minister extended good wishes for success of the new medical institution
opened in Bilaspur.
Amar Agrawal said that big medical institutions are coming to the state because
of the policy made by chief minister Dr Raman Singh to provide best health
service to the people of the state. In the time to come, Chhattisgarh would be established
as a healthy state, he added.
Ramkrishna Care Hospital Dr Sandeep Dave said that better work in health sector
has been done in Chhattisgarh through the schemes and policies of the state
government. No poor person would be returned from this hospital because he has
no money, he added. Director of this 200-bed hospital Dr YR Krishna delivered
the welcome speech.
MP Lakhanlal Sahu,
former speaker of the Assembly Dharamlal Kaushik, MLA Raju Singh Kshatri, Mayor
Vani Rao, corporators, Commissioner Sonmani Bora, Collector Siddharth Komal
Singh Pardeshi and large number of citizens were present at the function.
