Diagnosis labs, blood banks will be established in all districts
RAIPUR: Diagnosis labs and blood banks will be established in
all the districts, including the new ones, through Red Cross Society. The
already established diagnosis labs and blood banks will be expanded and be
given further momentum.
These decisions were taken in a meeting of senior administrative
officers of the state, district collectors, senior officers of medical colleges
and Red Cross Society, chaired by Governor Shekhar Dutt, here on Wednesday.
In the meeting, Governor Shekhar Dutt said that good health is a
main necessity of human being, after fulfilment of their basic needs. For
increasing the lifespan of the citizens and to provide them high quality health
facility, along with extending government medical facilities, it was necessary
to promote voluntary organisations like Red Cross Society and link private
doctors and service minded citizens with it, he said.

Sunil Kumar said that such diagnosis labs and blood banks run by
the Red Cross Society were most reliable not only in the views of citizens but
private doctors and service minded citizens would also get full cooperation.
