Rs 4.57-crore tourism development works in Damoh
BHOPAL: In the
series of tourist facilities expansion in Damoh district, Water Resources
Minister Jayant Malaiya, Minister of State for Tourism Brijendra Pratap Singh
and Minister of State for Energy Dashrath Lodhi laid foundation stones for 6
works costing Rs 4.57 crore for development and beautification at Damoh on
that the works for which foundation stones have been laid have been sanctioned
by Tourism Department within a month. Earlier, the guests planted saplings of
Ashok and palm trees at Shiv, Shani and Hunuman temples.
Announcement was made
to construct modern Manas Bhavan at Jatashankar Dham. It was also announced to
beautify Belatal and Puraina talab and construct ghats on Rajghat dam on
priority. Minister of State for Tourism Brijendra Pratap Singh announced to
construct mid-way on Damoh-Jabalpur road at a cost of Rs 70 lakh.
