President will inaugurate tribal museum next month
BHOPAL: President Pranab Mukherjee will
inaugurate a tribal museum and lay foundation stone for Atal Bihari Vajpayee
Hindi Vishwavidyalaya at Bhopal next month. Higher education and culture minister
Laxmikant Sharma reviewed preparations for the President’s proposed Madhya
Pradesh visit, at a high-level meeting at Mantralaya here on Thursday.
Principal secretary to chief minister, principal
secretaries higher education and culture and senior officers of higher education
and public relations departments and district administration were present on
the occasion. At the meeting, vice-chancellor of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi
Vishwavidyalaya Mohanlal Chheepa informed about the preparations.
The culture minister while going round the
Tribal Museum at Shyamala Hills, said that the museum constructed by Madhya
Pradesh government would vividly showcase tribal culture and life.
Sharma also went round the proposed
premises of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi Vishwavidyalaya. Land for the university
has been allotted near village Mungawali Kot in the vicinity of Sukhi Sewania
on Sanchi Road. The President will lay foundation stone for the university at
Sharma was accompanied by principal secretary
higher education and senior officers of the district administration.
