Madhya Pradesh tourism goes hi-tech
information about state’s historic heritages will be available easily on
tourists’ mobile phones. Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation has
decided to avail ultramodern techniques like quick response code (QRC) and near
field communication (NFC) to domestic and foreign tourists in their own
in-principal sanction by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, it has been
decided to use these techniques at Khajuraho and Orchha tourist destinations.

centres. For this, tourist will have to install QR code application on their
smart phones or i-Pad. After scanning this code, tourists will get detailed
information about concerning tourist destination.
QRC, tourists can enjoy facilities on their mobile tourist destination’s
videos, pictures, historic background through voice recording and video films.
In the beginning, this information will be available in five languages
including Hindi, English, Japanese, French and Chinese (Mandarin).
